My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This is Annie and I doubt you will ever meet a sweeter dog! Several of us in this rescue met her at the groomers shop where she was coming for her first clip...at 3-31/2 yrs old. She was an absolute angel and acted like she had been going to groomers all her life! Her owners got her from a shelter 3 yrs ago and they seem to love her. However, they don't believe in "penning up" (as they call it) a dog and Annie is allowed to run the neighborhood. Sadly, as a consequence for poor Annie; she got hit by a car and her badly injured leg had to be removed. Now, her folks are willing to give her up to a great home, especially if one with kids can be found for her. She is the friendliest dog you can imagine and never meets a stranger; plus we were told that she really loves kids. Annie loves to go and meet the kids at the school bus and we would like for her to be able to continue to do this...although on a leash and supervised; not on her own! She gets along with other dogs and doesn't seem to want to chase cats. Annie is spayed, up to date on all shots, on heartworm and flea and tick prevention.Of course we do not really know what breeds are in Annie's background; but we made an educated guess based on her personality and appearance. She weighs about 55-60 lbs and her coat (unclipped) is not that long and would be easy maintenance whether clipped or not. Won't you please open your heart and homes to this fantastic girl and give her a loving home where she will be safe, and not at risk of being hit by yet another car; as the next time might be fatal! To get more info on Annie and to fill out an application please contact lorainecm@comcast.net or omlc7@hotmail.com. Thanks
