My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sweet Playful Sheltie. . .My Name is Honey--Videos

I sure live up to my name. . .Honey. I'm such a sweetie pie! I'm a retriever/sheltie (small collie) mix and am still a playful pup at about 1 year old. I'm probably full grown too at 35 pounds--the absolutely perfect size for doing anything! Not too big. Not too small. I'm spayed, have all my shots and am housebroken. I'm such a good girl!!

Snuggling and playing are my specialties! I really enjoy doing activities with you and also having a doggie buddy to play with. I'll play ball with you, get a stick, and any other game you can come up with. I'd be lonely without another playful doggie, so that's a must! I've got medium energy and do really love a play buddy.

I love people. . .and get along with children too! At first I'm a bit shy with people, but once I get to know them I love it when they give me back and tushy scratches. You can gain my trust with just a few treats. Yum yum!

Before I got rescued, I had a skin condition where I lost some hair. Now that I've been treated, most of my gorgeous brunette locks have grown back. I am quite the GORGEOUS beauty now, and in supreme health -- fully vetted too! You may see in my short video that I had some tape around my hind ankles. They were dew claws that were long -- I had them surgically removed so no future troubles for me.

Please watch the videos of me with my super-great foster sister, Buttons (she's looking for a home too)!
