My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Bullseye was originally brought to a kill shelter by a very unusual route for one so young. Although he is only a four-month-old kitten, he was brought to the shelter by the Frisco Police because he had "scratched" someone who had filed a complaint. Scratch cats are treated the same as bite cats. Little Bullseye had to go through 10 days of quarantine, time in which even the shelter personnel were not allowed to touch him. His future foster mom was at the shelter and saw this adorable little kitten playing and when she went to the glass of his cage (he was in a locked room but visible through glass), he began interacting with her and pawing at her on the other side of the glass. When she asked why he was locked in quarantine and was told someone had turned him in for a scratch, she tagged him for rescue and returned to pick him up when his 10 days were over. He has never been even remotely aggressive in his foster home. His foster mom poked him and trimmed his nails and put medicine down his throat and he let her do whatever she needed to do without getting upset. A kitten that small cannot help scratching someone, especially when it's nails have never been trimmed. It is total insanity to quarantine an animal for a scratch when it is so young and has long nails. Sadly, this is not the first time his foster mom has pulled a fantastic cat out of kitty prison for silly reasons and probably won't be the last. Bullseye is the sweetest little guy. He is slightly on the shy side, but once he settles in he is an awesome playful loving kitten. Bullseye is a classic tabby and has great markings with a target outlined in deep red on his side. He is only four months old, but will undoubtedly be a stunningly handsome adult cat. All this little guy needs is a forever family to love and adore him and keep his nails trimmed. :) How about yours?!

NOTE: Second photo is Bullseye with his buddy, Vino (also available for adoption through FFAR). Both are GREAT kittens!
