Here's what the humans have to say about me:

**Guess what?! My donation fee has been discounted. I'm now available for a minimum donation of $25. That's a steal!**
I am a 2-year-old spayed female Lhasa Apso mix. I weigh about 12 pounds. Trust me, I am as sweet as they come! I'll climb up into your lap and never want to leave. I just love human affection! If you like puppy smooches, then I am definitely the dog for you! I get along really well with other dogs, too! I really want to be friends with everyone, humans and canines alike. Somehow, I wound up at a local high-kill shelter in really terrible shape. I couldn't see out of my right eye and my coat was full of mats. I basically had doggie dreadlocks. Yuck! The vet at the shelter took a closer look at my eye and saw that I had a condition called Micropa...something. "Small eye" is the non-scientific, easily pronounced, term for it. It didn't appear to be bothering me so they put me up for adoption just the way I came in. I spent about 2 weeks there waiting for someone to rescue me. To my surprise, CageFree saved me. I was brought to their facility where I was fed and loved. They even cut out my mats for me! You would not believe how much better I look now. My friends here at the rescue scheduled an appointment with a specialist to have my eye examined. My doctor said that she's unclear whether I was born like that or if I had suffered an eye injury long ago, but she suspects that it's the latter. The decision to remove the eye or leave it was left up to my rescuers. After some careful thought, they felt that removing the eye would be the best option for me. Under the knife I went! I'm doing great since the surgery and I'm healing nicely. Pretty soon my hair will grow back and at first glance, it will be hard to tell that I am missing an eye. Despite all this, I am still happy, playful & super sweet! I act like a completely normal dog in every way. Boy, do I wish I could talk, though. I'd tell all my friends about the life I've had and how much I want to start a new one. I can't wait to find a forever family to call my own. If you think you are that family, please don't hesitate to contact CageFree and schedule an appointment to meet me!
