Jake's Story...
Jake is a 1-2 year old Shepard mix that is hoping to find his forever family very soon. This handsome boy is good with other dogs, cats and older kids. He can be fearful, and will need someone that will be patient with him so that he can learn how to be a normal dog. Jake has lots of puppy in him, and loves to cuddle with his person. He loves to get his forehead and chin rubbed, and will lean into you once he knows that you are not going to hurt him. Jake does have a bit of guarding tendencies, so will need a person that understands how to control this until he learns this is not acceptable.

If you want to give Jake a second chance at life, please email newhopepetrescue@gmail.com and get your application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jake, a Laingsburg Boxer/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer/Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Laingsburg, or seeking a Boxer/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Laingsburg.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Laingsburg already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Laingsburg breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer/Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Boxer/Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Laingsburg paves the way for another one to be saved.
