Topaz's Story...
Topaz is the most colorful kitten of the FOR kitten season! Her pink ears, nose, and paws along with her gorgeous markings make her a total stand out. She's the most thoughtful of her litter -- she romps with her brothers and sisters but she takes a little more time to ponder things. In other words, she's not going to let them get her into trouble! The other three will scrambling up an down a cat tree and Topaz watches a few minutes before she joins in - she's the least likely to give in to peer pressure! Topaz is ready for immediate adoption. FOR's kitten fee is reduced to $50 until July 31 (includes spay, microchip, vaccination, exam, and Felv/Fiv test). Topaz is fostered in Huntsville, AL and you can meet her by emailing info@FORrescue.net. The first step is our application and you'll find it at http://forrescue.net/cat-application/

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Topaz, a Knoxville Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Knoxville, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Knoxville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Knoxville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Knoxville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Knoxville paves the way for another one to be saved.
