Cleo is an 8-year-old Chihuahua and a proud member of the Grey Muzzle Club. Unfortunately Cleo’s world recently changed forever as her beloved senior guardian was no longer able to properly care for her. Giving a senior dog like Cleo another chance at a good life can be very rewarding. She is so sweet and accommodating and whoever adopts her will have a loyal companion in no time. Cleo has a grace and wisdom that will make each day shared with her very special. She has been accustomed to having someone around most of the day so a home where she is not alone for long periods would be ideal. Cleo is quick to sound the alarm (bark) when she hears strange noises so apartment living is not for her. As you can see Cleo has some serious weight to shed; her previous guardian did not limit her intake of “treats” in their last years together. The stress on her knees and joints carrying this extra weight is not good for Cleo and she will definitely need to lose weight. She loves going for walks – she walks proudly with her head held high. The exercise will help her lose the extra pounds and keep her happy and healthy. Kelly is best suited for an adult home or one where children are older.
