Pharaoh's Story...
Pharaoh showed up at an office building in Sun City Center. He was so friendly and craved attention that the person feeding him thought he should have a home of his own. He would meet her in the morning and wrap himself around her legs or lay down and show his belly that he wanted to have rubbed. He's tested negative for FIV/FeLV and has had his rabies and distemper shots. Pharaoh would like his own forever home, preferably one that will spoil him rotten.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Pharaoh, a Tampa American Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Shorthair for sale in Tampa, or seeking a American Shorthair cat from a breeder in Tampa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tampa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tampa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Shorthair breeders who help with American Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tampa paves the way for another one to be saved.
