My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Roscoe is a sweet energetic boy with an adorable face that is so hard to say no to! He is a cuddler who isn't afraid to show it! He will come over and put his head on your lap while your sitting down and sit by your feet when you are watching tv, he is a companion For sure and will never leave your side. He is a puppy so he has lots of puppy energy! He is happy and healthy, and non-shedding! Roscoe is approximately 10 months to a year old and currently weighs 23 lbs.

Here is what else Roscoe's foster family had to say:

Roscoe is very friendly with everyone. He loves everyone but seems to be particularly interested in children. When he hears children his ears perk right up. He is friendly with all dogs! Stops to say hi to all on walks and has been going for walks with a doggy friend everyday. He is curious of loud noises but never fearful. His favourite things are going for long walks and play, although he loves his downtime and a good cuddle.

Roscoe is learning his basic commands and good doggy manners however as he is a pup he will need someone committed to continuing his training. He has learned his name and knows "come" and "sit". He is well on his way to be house trained if not house trained already, and he let's you know when he has to go out. He is not crate trained as we haven't used one for him. At night he sleeps on the ground next to the bed! We are currently working on his leash respect and how to walk nicely. He may do well with a harness rather than a collar as it chokes him when he gets extra excited. He is a quiet dog in the home. He rides great in the car!

Roscoe is a friendly guy who loves everyone. He is an intelligent pup and eager to please however he is going to need someone that is willing to work on his training as he is a high energy puppy. He would probably not be the best choice for a first time dog owner unless they were willing to go to obedience classes and learn how to train Roscoe. He will make the bestest friend and will be sure to put a smile on your face with his quirky personality and adorable face! He will be a wonderful, loyal, family pet and will fit in easily wherever he goes.

If you think Roscoe would be a good choice for your family, please submit an adoption application for consideration.
