Hershey's Story...
Hershey came into our rescue with his mama and 7 litter mates. He's a stunning black lab mix with some white markings, born in late April 2014.

While Hershey is having a terrific time playing with the other pups (big and small, young and old), he'd much rather have a home of his own. A family of his own. His own food bowl. His own rope bone. A kid of his own. And maybe even a four legged friend or two. He's fairly mellow, and LOVES to snuggle.

Puppies this age become what new owners mold them into. They are sweet, loving, happy, and eager to learn. They need to be taught and trained. They look at other animals as playmates. It is up to new owners to keep them animal friendly and turn them into wonderful family pets.

We are a shelterless rescue, which means we do not have a physical location, so it is not possible to come to see multiple dogs at one time. Our adoption fee is $450 and includes all their vetting, including their spay/neuter, and transport up to the Northeast.***

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Hershey, a berwick Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in berwick, or seeking a Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in berwick.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in berwick already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a berwick breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in berwick paves the way for another one to be saved.
