for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Stella's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, a special needs pet, up to date with shots, not good with kids, and good with dogs.

Stella's Story...
Stella is a sweet, silly, and a little bit special. Stella was found by a good Samaritan who saw her in the middle of the street! She thought Stella had been hit by a car because she was wobbling, but as it turned out, this itty bitty dog has a neurological condition that makes her wobble. It is stable, and we don't expect it will change any time soon. She has been in foster care for several months, and her foster mom reports she is as sweet as they come! She loves to snuggle, and she can walk around and play, too. We know "special needs" can sound scary to some adopters, but if you think about it from Stella's perspective she doesn't know life is any different. She has been in a foster home long enough. Give her a permanent home. She deserves it and you will love her to no end! She's about 2.5 years old and only weighs a little over 3 pounds. She's waiting for you!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Stella, a petaluma Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in petaluma, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in petaluma.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in petaluma already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a petaluma breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in petaluma paves the way for another one to be saved.
