Sissy's Story...
Hello my name is Sissy. I am looking for my perfect family. Let me tell you a little about myself. I am about 1 year old. I was found in Washington Park, Il in October 2013. My foster daddy said I was a walking skeleton. I had worms, fleas and bites to my back and tail. He took me in and now I am a totally different dog today! I love to run, jump, chew on my toys and gives lots of kisses. I also like to sleep closely with you and have my belly rubbed.I also dont like confrontations with other dogs, so i will be submissive to an alpha dog. I do like to chase anything that runs, but my foster daddy has taught me, if a human says stop and stands still, i stop. I would be a good dog for children 8 and above because I like to jump.I would be great with a family or person that is active as I have lots of energy. I am not good in a crate so when you have to leave me, a spare room would be good.

Sissy adoption donation is $130 and includes spay/neuter, up to date vaccinations, Avid microchip & deworming. Sissy is being fostered in St Louis Missouri but transportation to the New England area is available thru ALPHA DOG TRANSPORT for an additional $140. Transportation to the Chicago area available on a limited basis for $125.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sissy, a waterbury Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in waterbury, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in waterbury.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in waterbury already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a waterbury breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in waterbury paves the way for another one to be saved.
