My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi there! Just call me lovebug Gibbons because I am a very sweet, affectionate, handsome young-adult male Russian Blue/ silver DSH mix who was born in October 2013. I was found as a stray in a nice lady's back yard but had no tag, collar, or chip. So that's how I got into the Buster's Friends rescue program.
We Russian Blue mixes are known to be lovable, loyal, gentle, quiet, well-behaved, super intelligent, and clean. Now how can you beat that? I have the Russian Blue's plush steely-grey coat and wide-set, vivid emerald-green eyes. I have a heart-shaped face (that the cat experts call cobra-like) and an eternally smiling expression on my face. My long legs and tail as well as my lean body give me an exquisite, stately, elegant aura.
But I'm not just eye candy! No siree, I'm very playful and active. Russian Blue mixes' only caveat is that we don't adapt well to changing environments. So I may take awhile getting adjusted to my new family's 'digs,' and I shouldn't be adopted by someone in the military who moves all over the place. To find out more about Russian Blue mixes, please watch the attached 3-minute You Tube video that appeared on Animal Planet or google 'Cats 101 Russian Blue.' You won't waste any time running down to meet me, where I'm sure you will fall in love with me. Just call me a sterling-silver champ!
Gibbons is updated on shots, neutered, dewormed, microchipped, FIV/ FeLV negative, and ready for his indoor-only home. No de-clawing permitted. His adoption fee is $100, cash or check payable to Buster's Friends. Please click the contact button if you are interested in Gibbons, and we can let you know exactly where you can meet him.
Note: Buster's Friends does not ship animals. Adopters must come to get Gibbons and accompany him back home.
To make the process more efficient, download the adoption application at http://www.bustersfriends.org/catadoptionapplication.shtml.
First save and then open it; then you can print it and fill it out.
