Here's what the humans have to say about me:

"Are you looking for a smart and good-natured puppy to be your good friend and companion? Please look my way! My name is PETIE, and I'm a three-month-old handsome pit bull who's destined to become one cool dude. I'm friendly and playful, yet I'm not overly energetic. I'll need a daily walk, like most dogs, but I'll be able to calm down after I get my exercise. I excel at fetch, and I'll bring the toy back to you. I even know how to sit already; not bad for a youngster. I'd need a good-sized yard in my new home, and I'd want to have a comfy dog bed in the house so that I can be part of the family. I'd make a wonderful family pet, and I'll probably get along well with other larger dogs in the home. I'm very young, so I still need to learn my house training skills. You can rest assured that an intelligent boy like me can learn just about anything, if you'll just be a calm, firm leader who will show me the way. Please come visit me at the El Cajon Animal Shelter so you can see what a good boy I am. We can hang out in the play yard and I can show you how good I am at fetch. I hope to see you soon.
