Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi everybody my name is Maya. I am a beautiful one year-old blue eyed, copper & white husky, if I do say so myself. I have come to DVSHR because my previous owners had some changes in their lives and they could not spend as much time with me. They felt very sad about having to leave me for long periods of time in my crate. As difficult as it was they made the unselfish decision to let me come to DVSHR to find a new fur-ever home. I love being around people and animals big and small. Kisses abound. I like crowds and travel well. Occasionally I chew a "stray" shoe or two when I get bored. Walks are so much fun. I am pretty good on the leash. Still learning not to pull when I get excited seeing new friends. I do follow my foster parents around the house. I sit at the door and wait for them if they go outside without me. I just love being with them. I really have a lot of fun with my furry foster sister Ruby. We play husky games, chase and share toys. I am crate trained & house trained. Still learning sit, stay and down. I would love to be in home with an active and fun loving family.
