Nina's Story...
Meet Nina! Miss Nina is a 2 year old spayed female and the mother of Lucky and Cecelia (also available for adoption. See separate listings.) Sadly, these cats were victims of an owner being forced to move into a home where pets were not allowed. Nina is also very sweet and loves attention. She is not quite as pushy about it as her offspring but still very much a love bug. She is a very good-natured young lady who would enjoy a new permanent home where she can live the happy life that she deserves. Nina is current on her vaccines and has tested negative for FIV and Feline Leukemia. This is a great cat! Please consider meeting her!! She will truly be a happy addition to your home!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Nina, a Fairfax Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Fairfax, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Fairfax.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Fairfax already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Fairfax breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Fairfax paves the way for another one to be saved.
