Grayson's Story...
Introducing Grayson!! He is an affectionate, fun-loving, 6-year-old male Weim with a striking physique. He is tall with long legs and a nice waistline. His coloring is a blend of gray with some darker coloring on his neck, back and tail. He loves to be by your side and keep you company as much as possible. He has bonded very well to his foster dad. He loves walks, running off leash at the dog park and dissecting the squeaker out of stuffed dog toys. He plays fetch, but is not much of a retriever, and knows some tricks such as shake paw and roll over. He previously lived with a 1-year-old child and in his foster home he is adored by 2 and 4-year-old boys and would do wonderfully in a home with children. He gets along with other dogs and would do best in multi dog home, or where his humans are home often, such as someone who works from home, is retired, or is a stay at home parent since he does have a mild case of separation anxiety. He is neutered and up-to-date on his vaccinations. This sweet boy is quite a catch. Would you not agree? Fill out an application and come check him out!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Grayson, a Grand Haven Weimaraner dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Weimaraner for sale in Grand Haven, or seeking a Weimaraner dog from a breeder in Grand Haven.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Grand Haven already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Grand Haven breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Weimaraner breeders who help with Weimaraner rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Grand Haven paves the way for another one to be saved.
