My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello World,

My name is Tia....my foster mom likes to call me Tia Maria! I just turned nine in April and am a 15 pound mini Schnauzer girl.
My whole life I was used to have puppies over and over to make money for a greedy lady that didn't really love me. Somehow a miracle came down upon me when she was cited for licensing violations and let me go to rescue.

A really nice rescue took me in, got me groomed and got me current on all my shots. I was heart work tested and got my pearlies cleaned too! You can see how beautiful I am now - you wouldn't have recognized me if you saw my "before" picture!

I was born in Arkansas and a Pilot for Paws plane flew me up to St. Louis where a rescue angel family from Schnauzer Rescue Cincinnati took me into their home where I stayed for a week with seven other Schnauzies! I was a bit nervous at first - but after 3-4 hours - I was part of the gang!!

My journey continued a week or so later to Cincinnati where I have been living the past couple weeks in a foster home with five other Schnauzers...all boys too!

I am the toy queen here. I carry a toy just about everywhere I go. I am totally house trained, know how to use all three doggie doors and am learning my basic commands. Now I just need to find a forever home to call my own.....I am great on the leash too and rarely bark even when my stepbrothers are all out of control!!
