My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

McDuff is a precious 2 year old, 5.7 pound Yorkshire Terrier. He was taken from a hoarding situation where he spent his days living in a cage outside with multiple other dogs. His coat was in terrible shape and had to be shaved down, but he will have a healthy, silky coat when it grows out.
McDuff is one busy little fella! He is so excited to be able to run through grass and explore the yard, he has to sniff everything, and is really enjoying learning about all the new things he comes into contact with. Due to living in a cage, he isn't house or crate trained yet, but we will be working on it.

Unfortunately because he has never been kept on preventatives this little guy is heartworm positive and is undergoing treatment before finding his forever home. For an approved applicant, we would be willing to allow him to go into a foster-to-adopt situation while he completes his treatment.
