"Belle"'s Story...
Belle is a 1-1/2 yr old spayed female 11 pound Havanese Poodle mix. Belle is a "medium energy" girl. Her personality is not your instant happy go lucky dog. Belle was rescued from a high kill shelter in CA she is current with all vaccines, rabies and micro-chipped. Belle is a active, sweet, and loving girl that would be best matched with a female only household. Sadly Belle is afraid of men. she may over come her fear with patience and time. A positive approach to basic training obedience class for bonding and recall purposes. She is a young dog that requires routine, daily walks, and playtime. Her ideal home would be a active, engaging, and have another dog close in age to play with. She will flourish with a family committed to taking her to a puppy class. Puppy class is a good bonding experience for the entire family. and will be required. Belle is a young, wiggly girl and at this stage of her life has little time to be a lap dog. She love's playing with people and other gentle, fun dogs. She likes children and gets along great with other small dogs. Belle's ideal home would be with a patient couple or single female household. She is "bouncy" happy dog in a secure environment. She needs time to adjust and warm up to new people. She is flourishing and has potential to be a great companion dog. She likes to be held and near her person. Belle loves walks, and does well on a leash. She also likes car rides. Grooming needs are visits to the groomer every 5-6 weeks to maintain her beautiful looks. Why Adoption is a Great Option

"Belle", a Seattle Havanese/Poodle (Miniature) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Havanese/Poodle (Miniature) for sale in Seattle, or seeking a Havanese/Poodle (Miniature) dog from a breeder in Seattle.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Seattle already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Seattle breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Havanese/Poodle (Miniature) breeders who help with Havanese/Poodle (Miniature) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Seattle paves the way for another one to be saved.
