Cammie's Story...
05-09-14 Cammie and her pup who is now adopted were saved by a good samaritan as they were walking along a busy highway in Wilmington. Cammie is a little girl, weighing about 38 lbs. We think she's around 18 months old and she's beyond sweet.
Her breed mix looks beagle, hound and maybe a little pit bull, though her build and coloring don't look pittie.
She likes most other dogs and is young enough to play some. She has a healed leg injury that causes her to limp a little but that doesn't hold her back at all.
There is a surgery that can help and once she finds a home or foster home we will pay for the surgery to be done so she can have an even better quality of life.
She's such a wonderful dog that deserves to be loved and enjoyed. Cammie will be a great dog for someone willing to give her a chance.
She's had all vaccines, is spayed, microchipped, heartworm negative and on prevention.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cammie, a Charlotte Beagle/Hound (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle/Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in Charlotte, or seeking a Beagle/Hound (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Charlotte.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Charlotte already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Charlotte breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle/Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Beagle/Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Charlotte paves the way for another one to be saved.
