My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Purple has pretty intense eyes, but he's a big mush. He loves to show off the curly hairs on his belly, and he enjoys petting sessions, which often turn into play sessions. He is a very polite and mindful cat, and he has no problem at all with other cats, nor with large dogs. Never have we seen a cat more at immediate ease with himself, other animals, and strangers. He's an incredibly relaxed dude, practically human.

This handsome devil was reportedly owned when he was a kitten, but he was abandoned to the streets and left to fend for himself over the last 2 years. Thanks to concerned neighbors who thought he'd been abused and spray-painted, we got Purple Red the immediate care he needed, and he just loves being indoors again! (It was not spray paint, but rather someone's attempt to treat his wounds with Gentian Violet. The stained hairs have since grown out.)

Purple is neutered, current on vaccines, and negative for both FeLV and FIV. He will make an excellent addition to any home. If you'd like to arrange a meeting with Purple in his NJ foster home, please don't hesitate to contact us. This guy is a dream!
