Essie - ADOPTED's Story...
MEET GORGEOUS ESSIE!
Essie is a beautiful Tortie girl, who was found in a box next to a dumpster! She is estimated to be a young 3 yrs, is very, very sweet and loves people! As you can see from her photo, she has a very beautiful tortie coat that is so soft.

Essie seems to be okay with most other cats, but is a bit concerned with larger, or overly rambunctious, dogs. Essie wants to find her forever home so she can have someone to love her and give that love right back! Essie is currently in foster care. To meet Essie, please contact us to make an appointment to visit with her.

All of our kittens and cats are vetted, vaccinated, tested, spay/neutered prior to adoption. And all are indoor only! If you have a serious interest in adopting, meet'n'greets can be arranged by appointment. Contact us to make an appt or for additional information.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Essie - ADOPTED, a Brooklyn Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Brooklyn, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Brooklyn.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Brooklyn already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Brooklyn breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Brooklyn paves the way for another one to be saved.
