These two adorable cats were born on a porch in spring 2014 and came to AFL as a couple of wild kittens. They are now playful, well-socialized sweethearts who enjoy love-fests on their foster parents' laps, snuggling in bed, purring like little motors, and "torturing" the big kitties in the house. The girls warm quickly to new people, especially when toys, treats, and scritches are involved.
Like their namesakes, Thelma and Louise are extremely bonded to each other--besties as well as sisters--so they must go to their forever home together. They are only truly happy when they're in the same room! Louise (pictured, right) has a low-level murmur and mild cardiomyopathy, for which she gets two small pills daily. Her foster mom says she is very good about taking them--she knows that treats won't be far behind! Thelma shows no sign of heart disease, and Louise is doing just great. They need an adopter who can provide loads of love and just a little extra care. Do you have room in your heart to give them the forever home they deserve? The rewards will be great.
