JUNIOR one of four brothers in a litter of five, Minnie is the only girl. See the story of how they entered this world below:
5-9-14 We received an emergency plea to help a mommy cat struggling with labor. She had delivered one kitten (Junior) 14 hrs prior but the others were stuck & in fetal distress. The owner couldn't afford vet care & had to surrender her. She was rushed into surgery for a c-section to save the lives of her kittens. We will need funds to help with costs as Woodstock ate up our entire "reserve" funds (and then some!). We couldn't say no to this mommy in desperate need & agreed to take her into our rescue to save her & her little family. 5-9-14 Five kittens were delivered by c-section. Four survived and one perished, despite the valiant efforts of the vet team who even tried to intubate the wee one. With the one who had been born 14 hrs prior, that brings Smushie's little family up to five surviving kittens. Mommy was spayed while she was in surgery so this will be her last litter!
