Here's what the humans have to say about me:
DOB January 1, 2013.
Mae is a beautiful petite tortoiseshell cat who unfortunately spent most of her adult life pregnant and caring for kittens. She was also a "drop off" cat who raised her one set of kittens in a bush by a river in Guelph. Since her rescue and spaying, she has started to enjoy some time to herself and has begun to enjoy the comforts of indoor living.
Mae is still a bit nervous with sudden movements and new people. She will venture out cautiously and accept cuddles to her head and back. She will purr when she is happy or when she is enjoying the company of people and other cats. She is a dainty eater and still on the thin side, but seems quite healthy.
Mae is starting to show signs of wanting to play and loves to sit and stare out the window. She will need a quieter home where she can continue to blossom and discover how wonderful it can be to be a cat with a secure environment and a family to love.
