Zoose's Story...
Hi - I'm Zoose! I was surrendered as a Pit-bull but we think I'm really a Staffordshire Bull Terrier. I'm a 4 year old boy that loves to sleep in bed with you and snuggle. I'm mostly housebroken but do have accidents once in a while. I also could use some help with my manners. But I understand things like "no", "sit" and "slow". I lived with kids that were ages 1 - 5. Uhm, I don't do cats though just so you know. I am usually good around other dogs and have even lived with them, but I will stand my ground if threatened. I play a little rough so maybe a pal close to my size would be better? My mommy wants my to find an inside home with lots of love, and a big yard to play in.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Zoose, a Douglas Staffordshire Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Staffordshire Bull Terrier for sale in Douglas, or seeking a Staffordshire Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Douglas.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Douglas already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Douglas breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Staffordshire Bull Terrier breeders who help with Staffordshire Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Douglas paves the way for another one to be saved.
