Meet Alf an affectionate and energetic cat who will make a loving companion. Alf usually has something to tell you and his repertoire of sounds is like no other cat. He’ll likely greet you at the door when you come home to tell you about his day plopping down sideways in hopes of getting scratches (he really loves face scratches). You’ll find Alf pining at the toy closet wanting to play; he impressively bats and pounces on the feather flyer and cat dancer toys so he may have been a baseball player in a previous life! Alf would be happiest in a home with lots of playtime and affection and if with other cats ones who would love to have a playmate.

About Furry Friends Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

We are a non-profit, all volunteer organization dedicated to rescuing, fostering and finding homes for companion animals in the San Francisco Bay Area.

We need more foster homes so we can save more animals! Would you please consider opening your home to a loving companion animal so they can have a chance for a new life? See our Foster Home info page.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Come see us at one of our Pet Showcases. Our locations and schedule can be found on our showcase locations page.

Our Adoption Process...

We are very thorough in our adoption process. The details and costs can be found on our How to Adopt page. We expect the whole family to be involved in the process.

We believe our dogs and cats should be treated as family members for their entire lives. They deserve the best we can give them and we should never give up on them. Adoption is for life!
