Butters's Story...
ABOUT BUTTERS -- BEST PURR-SONALITY EVER!

I'm big and beautiful and my name is BUTTERS. Affectionate and attention-seeking, that's me. I'm very curious and love to be wherever YOU are, so I will follow and hang out with you. I am longhaired and love to be brushed. I've been shaved because my coat was really matted when I was found. I love to talk to you and my meow is tiny and cute! I am great with easygoing cats. A dog who ignores me is fine. Gentle well-behaved kids are good too, as long as they won't want to pick me up (I'm too big for that). I am an AWESOME guy -- you gotta meet me!

** You'll find me at the Naperville PETCO (348 S. Rt. 59, near Arby's!

** Adoption hours are 1-4:00 on weekends at all locations, or by appointment. To make an appointment or for more information, call PURRS at 630-815-4520 -- or email purrsnaperville@yahoo.com.

** All PURRS' cats are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, FIV/FeLeuk tested, wormed, and microchipped.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Butters, a Hillside Domestic Longhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in Hillside, or seeking a Domestic Longhair cat from a breeder in Hillside.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hillside already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hillside breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hillside paves the way for another one to be saved.
