Sarafina's Story...
This is little Sarafina! Sarafina is a beautiful tabby with white AND orange accents. She even has a little orange spot right on top of her head. Sarafina and her brothers and sisters were orphaned at 4 weeks and brought to a wonderful foster home that already had two Moms with their own litters of kittens. They are about 6 weeks old now and will be ready for adoption around the middle of July. The Moms, Paige and Peaches were more then happy to take the 5 little orphans and nurse them and take care of them also. This little of 5 consists of 3 girls and 2 boys. The girls are Shannon a calico, Savannah a light brown tabby with white accents and Sarafina a tabby with some orange mixed in. The boys are Salvadore a tabby with white accents and Sergio an adorable tuxedo kitten with a white stripe down his nose. All of them have been living among other kittens, adult cats and dogs so they are very well socialized. One just cuter then the next. Check out their cute little video!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sarafina, a Marseilles Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Marseilles, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Marseilles.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marseilles already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marseilles breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marseilles paves the way for another one to be saved.
