My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Karma is a unique-looking shepherd mix and is 7 months old. Her mom was a German Shepherd and we have no idea about Dad. We are thinking possibly a Carolina Dog or an even smaller dog because she is only about 30 lbs. Look at those ears! She was surrendered to our southern rescue partners because the owner had another baby and moved and Karma couldn't go with them. Karma loves children and has been raised around them her whole life. She also has a blast playing with multiple dogs in her foster home. She does great in her crate and is doing super with housetraining. She is a very sweet girl who could be an "only" or could go into a home with another dog.

Karma is house-trained, crate-trained and loves playing in the water. She just loves everybody and is so happy to spend time with humans or dogs or both!

Please give Karma another chance at a "happily ever after"! Karma needs a foster placement in order to come north to us, so please consider taking her in.

To apply to adopt this dog, please visit our web site to access our application and learn more about adoption through Lucky Pup Rescue, www.luckypuprescue.org, or request an application via email, luckypuprescue@yahoo.com.

Please note: We do not have a physical location, but we are supported by a network of wonderful foster homes that are spread throughout New England. A dog will need to be visited by a prospective adopter in the foster home where they are feeling safe and comfortable.

Thank you for considering rescue! Karma is with our southern rescue partners and we'd like to bring her north at the end of July if we can secure a foster placement for her.
