German Shepard + Chow Chow

Hallo! Mine name is Sven. I am new to the things that I am seeing here. I try to adjust quickly, but I am really nervous of my new environment, and still find things overwhelming. I like nice and slow introductions, gentle voices, and happy conversations. I am sure this is just a hurdle I have to get over, but it might take me some time. I have had so much uncertainty in my life that it seems so unreal for me to have something good and true of my very own. I would love to share my life with children 10+ that can be gentle and kind. I find the company of other dogs enjoyable as long as they play politely. I could even live with cats. They tend to weird me out a little, but I am sure this is just another obstacle to overt. Personally I really want to work on myself; my confidence levels, my dog skills, and my interpersonal communication. Communication is the key to any relationship, and I know that if I want to have something that lasts I will need to step up to the plate. I think about these things in my crate at night before I drift off to sleep. It is the only place where I feel really safe and secure because I know it is all mine. I would like to continue my crate work into the future as well. I know I have some lofty goals, but with trail and application I know I can be the best dog any family has ever had. Perhaps someone out there reading this would care to be my mentor? 2yrs-71lbs. My adoption fee is $180 and includes: microchip, spay, reduced cost training class, 1 month pet health insurance, free veterinary exam , leash/collar, food sample, toy & treat packet
