Hazel's Story...
Hazel looks like a wheaten terrier/bearded collie mix, she is approx 8 months old and 35 lbs at June 1, 2014. She is a typical pup, loves to run, play and eat a lot, she has a really sweet disposition and very mild mannered although she can be very bouncy and active when she wants to play with the other dogs. She has the most beautiful eyes and coat, she is fairly well house trained but not perfect and will need some leash training. She will follow the other dogs out to the yard for her bathroom breaks during the day but has not made it through the night yet, although she is learning very fast and is going to be a wonderful dog with a little training.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Hazel, a Norwalk Wheaten Terrier/Bearded Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Wheaten Terrier/Bearded Collie for sale in Norwalk, or seeking a Wheaten Terrier/Bearded Collie dog from a breeder in Norwalk.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Norwalk already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Norwalk breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Wheaten Terrier/Bearded Collie breeders who help with Wheaten Terrier/Bearded Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Norwalk paves the way for another one to be saved.
