Ginger Grant's Story...
Oh, La la, it's Ginger Grant! Gorgeous, svelt, charming and smart are all good words to describe MEOW's version of Ginger Grant. While she has never been marooned on island with a goofy set of characters, this Ginger Grant is marooned in a different way. She used to have a home but due to circumstances that were beyond her control, Ginger Grant is now floating in a sea of homelessness.

She is a little bit shy and may not be the most outgoing when you first meet her, but if you are willing so spend just a few minutes with her, you will see what a sweet little cat Ginger Grant really is. Ginger Grant will do best in a home where she will have a feline best bud.

MEOW Foundation is a registered charity and humane society with a no-kill mandate. We facilitate the adoption of the stray and abandoned cats that we rescue into new loving, permanent homes. We do our best to ensure that our cats will be matched to the best possible homes based on their personality, history, habits, and individual needs. MEOW has adopted 5800 cats into loving homes since 2000. Visit MEOW Foundation's website or call us at 403.230.6033 to learn more about adopting and our life saving programs

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ginger Grant, a Calgary Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Calgary, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Calgary.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Calgary already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Calgary breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Calgary paves the way for another one to be saved.
