Buddy and his siblings Boo, Ruth and Idgie will be at Petsmart in Yorba Linda, for our weekly adoption event, this Saturday, July 12th from 12-4 pm.
Buddy was rescued along with his sisters, Ruth, Idgie and Boo from a hoarder, his existence prior to being rescued was quite pitiful; his diet consisted of filthy water, sliced bread and rabbit feces (which he threw up during the car ride when I was transporting him and his sisters home). Sinatra and his sisters were "contained" in rabbit cages (filled with feces of rabbits that used to be in the cages), outdoors 24/7. He only had contact with one person and was terrified of me at first when I went to pick him up. Now he is opening up, learning how to be a playful puppy and interact with different dogs (I have five of my own). He's been dewormed and begun receiving vaccinations. He is extremely affectionate and happy, not a barker nor is he destructive. He just seems content enough being in a house with AC and clean food and water and lots of TLC.
All prospective adopters are required to complete an adoption application available on our website, www.poochmatch.com. The completed application may be returned via email to poochmatch@hotmail.com. An acknowledgement of receipt and review will be sent to you within twenty-four hours. Dogs of interest may generally be met between the hours of noon and 5 pm on Saturdays at Petsmart, Yorba Linda, 5521 Mirage Street, Savi Ranch Shopping Center, adjacent to the 91 freeway. Exit at Yorba Linda Boulevard/Weir Canyon Road.
