We are trying to help Princess's owner find her a new home as he has lost his job and cannot keep her.
Princess is about 9 months old and recently had a litter of 5 pups who have been adopted, and now it's her turn.
Her current owner got her when she was about 2 months old from someone else who could not keep her.
Although there may have been some abuse with original owner, her current owner says he gained her trust initially by sitting in the kennel with her. He says his 3, 5, and 8 year old kids can be in the kennel with her and they have no problem with her. She also does not appear to have any food aggression with people as we handfed her.
Her current owner had her in a kennel with two male pits (1 fixed, 1 not) and voila! - she had pups (unfortunately).
She is now in a kennel all by herself until she can find a new home as current owner cannot put her in with the other two dogs.
She seems timid and shy, but willing and young enough to learn to trust. We will have her spayed and brought current on her shots.
