Maise-- now renamed Zooey-- was returned to rescue after being adopted as a kitten and living with her family for  3 years.
They needed to move and could not take her

She has been in the garage sancturay now for over a year and is indeed a unique cat. She is loving on her terms and enjoys playing and being pet when she is ready for it. She absolutely loves hanging out up high and watching the world go by underneath her. She does not like other cats- prefers to be the diva and hang out on her own. She would make a perfect cat for a family that will let her be and allow her to come close when she feels like it

How To Adopt Me!

13thstcats.org is a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit, No-Kill Rescue Group based in San Jose.

We try our best to match our cats to the perfect homes, and match them based on their personalities, not their looks. Adoptions are not done on a first come, first serve basis, rather in the order of what homes are the right match for that particular cat

About 13th St. Nac Cat Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

13th Street Cats is an all volunteer organization dedicated to improving the lives of feral and social cats and reducing the population by TNR – Trap, Neuter, Return in Santa Clara County. Kittens and cats that can be socialized are taken into foster care while waiting adoption. With a no kill philosophy, 13th St Cats is pleased to be able to rescue these homeless animals who might otherwise end up in a local kill shelter, helping to reduce euthanasia rates.

Come Meet Our Pets...

We hold adoption fairs at Petsmart Campbell (CA) almost every Saturday, noon to 4pm; as well as at Petsmart Coleman (San Jose, CA) on one weekend a month.
Check our website for confirmation on dates and times: www.13thstcats.org

Our Adoption Process...

Our application is available on our website or at our adoption fairs. We do deliiveries of our cats to their new homes to help ensure a successful transition.
