My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi - I am Ollie. My foster mom thinks I am about the cutest thing there ever was. Maybe that is why she loves to sit and rub my belly and scratch my ears. I am a bit exuberant when I first meet you, or when you say we are going outside, but I promise, I calm down. I love, LOVE to go for walks and love for you to throw my toys so I can run get them. I am a 2-3 y/o male Lhasa Apso and probably would rather not have any kids in the family or young dogs. I don't really like them in my face and may show my ugly side. An older, calm dog is fine with me though. I think if you had a dog friendly kitty, I would absolutely love that. I do like to get my treats after I go outside to potty. Don't every doggie? I am looking for my forever lap family that will love me and understand me even with all my little quirks. Would even be great if you have had a Lhasa Apso before. Please, please adopt me.

This dog is spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations and current on flea/tick and heartworm preventative. This dog has tested negative for heartworms. The adoption fee is $375 if your adoption is prepaid and final prior to your dog's arrival. An additional $50 will be charged on dogs that are picked up from our Southbury CT adoption center, adopted at an event or foster home. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with CT HB 5368.
If you are a MA resident, your new family member is required to go through a mandatory 48 hour quarantine period at our Woburn MA isolation facility. Your new family member will be dropped off by our transport on Thursday and will be ready for you to pick him/her up on Saturday between noon and 2pm. An additional $75 fee will be added for puppies picked up from our Woburn MA quarantine facility. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with MA Order 405-CD-12 and Order 1-AHO-05. MA residents are no longer allowed to adopt from our adoption center or our adoption events due to MA regs. All MA adoptions must be finalized prior to the puppy leaving our care in TN.

TO APPLY PLEASE GO TO www.cprdogs.com. If your application was successfully submitted you will get a confirmation. Please DO NOT USE the ADOPTAPET "CONTACT THIS RESCUE GROUP" form below or you may not hear from us as these often end up in spam or bouncing back.

If you have not heard from one of our volunteers within 5 days of submitting your application, please email mollibo@gmail.com.
