My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Here is one great hound! Abner is a happy and healthy 5 year old male looking for a lifelong home. He is neutered, current on his shots and knows a few simple commands. Some of his favorite things include running on the beach, sniffing, taking naps in the sunshine and being close to his people. Abner is a good running buddy and companion. He is calm and patient with children. He loves playing with puppy pals at the park and beach but can get nervous when in a new home with other dogs. Given time he can warm up a bit though. In his few experiences with cats he’s discovered they are fun to chase. The same goes for squirrels. At the park he likes to howl and let everyone know he’s a hound but he is gentle and friendly.. Abner is looking for loving people who want to give him lots of exercise and attention. He really is one of a kind. Abner is house trained but not familiar with a crate. He is also microchipped.
