Boss's Story...
AAE took in this sweet, old soul in January 2014 after relinquishment by his owner due to health issues. He shared a (dry) pasture with Banjo for 12 years. He is a very kind ol' soul, and he will be evaluated more after he gets some long needed care (hooves, dental, vaccines, and worming, to start). He and Banjo are quarantined in adjacent paddocks, as Boss is on the thin side and Banjo is on the plump side.

Update: Hooves were trimmed 1/16/14, and Boss did quite well considering his hooves prob'ly hadn't been trimmed in years (and years). He willingly gave all four hooves, albeit a tad nervous, but honored what was asked of him and trusted his handler. His hooves are a work in progress, but MUCH improved. He is such a sweet, sweet, guy! Dental is schedule for 2/7/14, looking forward to him having a happy mouth!

More info coming soon after we have had a chance to evaluate him more.

Adoption fee subject to change based on training. Please refer to website for current information.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Boss, a El Dorado Hills Arabian was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Arabian for sale in El Dorado Hills, or seeking a Arabian from a breeder in El Dorado Hills.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in El Dorado Hills already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a El Dorado Hills breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Arabian breeders who help with Arabian rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in El Dorado Hills paves the way for another one to be saved.
