My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

AVAILABLE 06-20-14 The lady who brought Trent to the Shelter said that he had followed her dog home. They kept him for a week, but then realized she could not care for him. She said that he was very good with her dog and her 16yr. old son. He seemed to be housetrained and well behaved. Trent had some skin irritation which might have been due to poor nutrition - it seems to be clearing up since his arrival. He's a handsome guy - part American Bull Dog or even Boxer with almost a wiry fur. He tested negative for heart worms and his shots have been caught up. Trent did well when kenneled with another dog as well as in a crate by himself; so Trent seems to be rather accommodating. He does well on a leash. When you come to the Shelter in Elizabeth City be sure to check out Trent - maybe take him for a walk - we know he would appreciate it.
08-19-14 We have discovered that Trent seems to know the Sit and Down commands and enjoys a good belly rub. When taken into the cat room he seemed to be scared of the cats and even when a cat was taken out, he still seemed scared, so might do okay with cats. What a smart, sweet boy Trent is - be sure to meet him when you come to the Shelter.
