Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Dwight came into the shelter a very scared little guy but after a few days, he has found his confidence and is quite the character. He is about 7 years old an 20lbs. He will roll over on his back at the drop of a hat to get a belly rub. He loves the attention of people but seems to have that "little dog syndrome" with other dogs. He thinks he's top dog and big dogs should go away but small dogs are okay with him. He would be best in a home with no large dogs. He loves to climb into laps and he gives gentle kisses. He is a delightful little guy who ended up at the shelter through no fault of his own. Dwight has already been neutered so he must have come from a caring family. We're hoping they will come forward to take Dwight home but if not, Dwight is available for adoption immediately from Oceana County Animal Control. Please call 231-861-5395. ** Ask about possible Adoption Transportation assistance if you are not in the local area.** The adoption fee is $95. All adult dogs will spayed/neutered and up to date on shots before adoption.
