May's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and not good with cats.

May's Story...
May came to us with a badly infected gunshot wound in her back and nursing 4 babies. In spite of her injuries and the pain she had to be experiencing (and even with babies) she has always been sweet with people. Animal Control had to pull her out from under a house but she never reacted with him or at the vet's office. She was a good mother even when injured. Her babies have been adopted and now it is her turn. She is great with people and other dogs but would do best in a home without cats.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

May, a Greensboro Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Greensboro, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Greensboro.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Greensboro already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Greensboro breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Greensboro paves the way for another one to be saved.
