Hello! My name is Gracie and I'm the sweetest most snuggle girl on the block! When my foster mom sits on her chair, I climb on her shoulders and play with her pony tail... I love just to lay on her chest to sleep. I'm sweet, sweet, sweet!!!
I was born from a feral mom and was lucky to have born on WECR volunteer's backyard. For months the lady tried to catch my mom without success but she was able to catch me and my siblings at 2 1/2 months... and now that I'm safe and healthy, I'm looking for my furever family. Come and see me, I'm sure you'll fall in love with me!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gracie, a Richmond Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Richmond, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Richmond.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Richmond already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Richmond breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Richmond paves the way for another one to be saved.
