Vinnie's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, and good with dogs.

Vinnie's Story...
Vinnie is a sweet, teeny guy weighing in at only 4.2 lbs and is full grown. We think he is about 2 yrs old. He came to us from the local animal control where he had been brought in after being attacked by another dog. Poor baby had a bite wound on his head, but has made a full recovery. He gets along with other dogs and is doing well on his housetraining. He walks well on a leash and is an all around wonderful pup! Vinnie's adoption fee is $250, which goes towards the cost of his vet care.

If you are interested in adopting, please complete an adoption application, which can be found on our website at www.perfectpooches.org under the Adoption Process tab. All dogs are spayed/neutered, current on vaccines, heartworm tested ( as appropriate), fecal tested, and microchipped.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Vinnie, a Romeoville Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Romeoville, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Romeoville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Romeoville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Romeoville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Romeoville paves the way for another one to be saved.
