Facts about Trooper

  • Breed: Domestic Shorthair
  • Color: White (Mostly)
  • Age: Young
  • Sex: Female
  • Hair: Short
Trooper has a way of looking deep into my soul. She is a gentle girl, but enjoys playing very rough with her best friend, Radar. They will never be separated. While Radar is always right in the middle of things, Trooper is more the "sit back and take it all in." kind of girl! But she's not so laid back as to be a boring kitty. No, Trooper gives so much love and laughter - especially in those quiet "one on one" moments. Trooper arrived at TLCR a mere pound, covered in mange, with a host of other medical needs. She was named Trooper because that's just what she was - a real little trooper - taking her medication like a big girl - understanding that she needed to be kept apart for a while - and then it dawned on her foster mom - Trooper - of course! She had been rescued from a dumpster behind the Sheriff's Ranch! It's no coincidence, either, that she teamed up immediately with Radar. She became his protector, his teacher, his mommy and his playmate. When their forever family appears, they will be greatly missed. What a wonderful addition to anyone's life! Trooper and Radar must be adopted together!
