Louis is a small bundle of love and energy that just keeps going. He is so interested in everything around him and loves being with people that he is a real joy to be with.

Louis is happy and playful, gets along with other dogs and will do well in a family with children who are respectful of pets. He lives to go for walks, however he needs a little leash training to help him walk right by your side. He gets so excited to go for a walk that he just doesn’t know what to do with himself.

Louis is house-trained with a doggie door, friendly with other dogs and likes all people, even strangers. He enjoys the company of other dogs and will love to be a part of a family with children who will love him and play with him.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Louis, a Mountain Center Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Mountain Center, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Mountain Center.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Mountain Center already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Mountain Center breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Mountain Center paves the way for another one to be saved.
