My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello my name is Regen (Like the president) and I am a 12 year old White Eyed Conure. I am currently looking for a forever family of my own – maybe you will apply for that position? I'm very sweet and I would love to sit on your shoulder all day. I do have my grumpy moments, but my foster mom is working on that. I promise as soon as we get to know each other I will step right up! So more about me... My favorite food is pellets with fruit on top, my favorite sport is shoulder balancing, I like long days of sitting on the window sill and looking outside, and I love sitting in the sun and splashing in a bird bath. I like to chatter too - I'm not considered to be a "very" loud bird but I make lots of noise that is audible throughout the home - just so that you always know where I am - so you don't ever forget me. I quiet down when the lights are off so that you can get a good nights sleep and are ready to play with me the next day! So take me home and we will be best friends!

Update:
Well my foster mom says I'm not as grumpy as I used to be - well not with her anyway. Honestly I like her much more than I thought I would - now I won't leave her alone. We can do anything together and I don't even poop on her - I wait until she holds me over a paper towel. I just wish I could find a person of my very own to have this bond with forever.
