My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I am a 10-month-old spayed female Chihuahua mix. I weigh about 10 pounds. I am a super sweet girl with the best temperament! I get along great with other dogs and I love everybody I meet. I'll admit though, when I first got here, I wasn't as social as I am now. I came from the streets of Los Angeles and I didn't have much of a chance to interact with other dogs or people. I'm not sure how long I was loose, but thankfully a nice man was able to catch me before I was injured or killed. I wasn't micro-chipped and I didn't have an ID tag or a collar. My new human friend tried to find my owner for me, but he was unsuccessful. All signs pointed to me being a stray. So, that's when CageFree stepped in. They decided to welcome me into their rescue. I couldn't tell you how happy I was. No more rummaging through garbage cans looking for scraps or drinking out of the gutter. Now I get plenty of food and water and all the attention I deserve. As nice as it is here, I really want a home of my own, though. I'm a young gal so I do enjoying playing. If you like to travel with your dog to dog parks, hiking trails, or having dog parties with your friends and their dogs, I think I would be the perfect companion for you.
