Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hello! I’m Dougie! I am a 6 year old, Male, Labrador/ retriever mix. I was brought to The Pet Rescue Center after my mommy had to go into a nursing home. I am a fantastic dog that needs someone to play with! I like long walks and I am a great listener. I would do best in a home that could give me structure and daily exercise. I have my basic training and am very treat motivated so I can learn new tricks if you have any. Aside from a great personality, I am so handsome! Everyone just loves how just one of my ears sticks straight up in the air. I have a perfect figure, blonde hair and sweet eyes. Come visit with me!
ADOPTION PROCESS:
Pets are visited by appointment (times are flexible). Please email adopt@thepetrescuecenter.org to arrange a meeting time. This process allows potential adopters to spend adequate time with their prospective pet and prevents long wait times.
All interested parties must fill out an Adoption Application, which will be reviewed to find the best possible match. You can find our application online at: http://www.thepetrescuecenter.org/adopt/adoption-application.html. Completed applications can be submitted online, faxed to (949) 743-5878 or emailed to: adopt@thepetrescuecenter.org
Our adoption fee is $300 for dogs and $150 for cats, and includes spay/neuter, microchip, flea treatment, deworming, regular veterinary check-ups, and current vaccinations. This fee helps to defray the costs of medical care, supplies and boarding while the animals are in our care.
The Pet Rescue Center is a 501c3 non-profit organization that seeks to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome pets from high kill shelters and is temporarily housed inside the Alicia Pet Care Center at 25800 Jeronimo Rd. Suite 100, Mission Viejo, CA 92691.
